I need help...... Our office has recently installed a CT scanner for evaluation of the sinuses. So, my question is when I am coding the claim for a nasal endoscopy (31231) & the sinus CT (70486) should I use a modifier and if so which one would be the most appropriate? I was thinking of using modifier 59, but what I've read about it, I am a little nervous to use it. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ahead of time for taking the time out to read my crazy question.
