I work for a dermatology practice that occasionally has to apply a porcine xenograft as a partial closure. In the past we have used CPT codes 15275 (application of skin substitute) and Q4100 ("EZ Derm" porcine xenograft). Reimbursement for these 2 codes regardless of the payer is very minimal or it denies as a investigational product. Any suggestions on another code we could use?

Hello,
We had to send notes and I had the doctor write a letter stating why they had to use the porcine and it did get paid.
