When using CPT 17313 for Mohs on trunk, arms, or legs, we have submitted the correct ICD-9 code that corresponds to the location and our claims were denied from Medicare, our MAC is Noridian. Therefore, we were informed to use ICD-9 173.80 unsp malignant neop of other unsp sites. I have searched on the Medicare website and I cannot locate a new LCD for Medicare with the ICD-10 codes that are now payable. Has anyone been able to locate this LCD? We do not feel that ICD-10 code C44.80 (crossover from 173.80 is the correct code moving forward).
