Mono & enlargement of the spleen

:confused:Good Morning,
I have a coding question. We have a patient who is 15 years old. He has Mono and now an enlargement of the spleen due to Mono. Would you code both? Or Would enlargement of the spleen be a sign/symptom? I am confused... do to it being a secondary to Mono. Thank you :confused::o:o
