I have lost my job, coding ER visits, with MedData because of outsourcing to India and have just learned of another company that has laid off over 300 coders in the Columbus Oh area. I believe the name of the company is Health Point. These jobs also went to India. Anyone have any further information on this subject?
 
Wow, that's terrible. And I'm so sorry about your job! That's awful. I haven't heard anything about jobs going to India but I have heard a rumor about a prototype software that can code certain accounts, such as ancillary accounts. I found that a little troubling as well.
