Good Morning,
Would the number of dxs have any bearing on the Number and Complexity of Problems Addressed for the new guidelines for outpatient visits? Low indicates one acute, uncomplicated illness or injury; however, there is no further direction if there is more than one acute, uncomplicated illness or injury.

There is direction for 2 or more self limited or minor problems, 1 or more chronic illnesses with exacerbation, and 2 or more stale chronic illnesses; however acute problems don't have this same differentiation.

Thank you,
Laura
