Wiki Morning angina

Reviewing a medical record, I came across a patient with CAD that also has "morning angina." I am not a cardiology specialist coder, and all my research shows the possibility that one can code this to I25.111 - Atherosclerotic heart disease of native coronary artery with angina pectoris with documented spasm. While I'm sure I can code CAD with morning angina to I25.118 - Atherosclerotic heart disease of native coronary artery with other forms of angina pectoris, for those of you practicing (cardiology) coders, coder educators, and other specialists in cardiology, what is the best way (in your opinion) to code CAD with morning angina and why? Any references would also be appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Justine Valdivia, CPC, CRC
