One of the surgeon did a Subaortic septal myectomy (Morrow Procedure) and I can not locate the code.:confused:. He excises some of the generous bulk of the septal muscle...

Any guidance is appreciated!

Hey Deb,

Look at codes 33415 and 33416. If tissue was excised, I think 33415 is the more appropriate code (even though 33416 has the word "myectomy" in the title, I do not think any tissue is supposed to be removed when using this code).
