Hello, need a little help,
MRI was done on the thigh and calf area on the right for both, can we bill 73718 x2 and is there a modifier that needs to be put on the second one so that it doesnt deny as a dup.

According to Clinical Examples in Radiology (Spring 2007), non-joint studies are only reported once per extremity, regardless of how many portions of the extremity are studied. I hope this helps.
