How do you bill out for this? I never get paid on these things!!

If the orthopedist send his patient out for and mri. When they come back into the office and he goes over them in the office. How can we get paid.. i tried using 26 modifier,but that doesnt work?

you cannot use the 26 as the Radiologist has already made the official interpretation and it has been billed. Only one official interpretation may be billed. If there is no written interpretation of the MRI and your physicians supplies a separately documented radiologic interpretation report then you may bill with a 26 and appeal with you documentation. However if you physician is review the CD and going over the results with the patient then this is part of your MDM in your visit level.
