Are there a separate CPTs code for MRI Brain Ablation W, MRI brain Ablation WO and MRI Brain Ablation WWO?
We are currently using 0398T for all these Procedures. Thank you.

The CPT manual states that separate CPT codes...70557 to 70559 for MRI of brain. No contrast used CPT 70557 & CPT 70558 if contrast used and CPT 70559 for use during surgery. I hope this data helps you..

The MRI Brain ablation procedure is done by the surgeon with RS&I provided by Radiologist. The surgeon is billing for 61715 that includes Radiology imaging and interpretation. How do I make sure that the radiologists services are appropriately reimbursed?
