Can anyone help me with this coding issue or point me to where I should be looking for this kind of information. This is my first time coding chiropractic services in Minnesota with Medicare as the secondary insurance payer. If Medicare is the secondary payer, do I need to have the Medicare modifier AT already on the procedure code 98940 when it goes to the primary insurance to ensure Medicare will pay when it is submitted to them as secondary insurance payer?
