Wiki MUE Edits

We have an internal discussion going on about who should be responsible for reviewing/correcting MUE edits. Should it be a coder or the A/R claims follow up staff. Would like to hear how others are handling the MUE edits.

Whomever understands how to apply or override the edits and submit a successful appeal when appropriate.

In my opinion, its always better to have a claim not reach the A/R staff so I would side with the coder being responsible for entering the right modifiers for MUE and PTP edits.
