Wiki Multiple fractures - Can anyone help me on this one

Hello,

I have one where on 10/12/15 patient comes into the office for a
1. displaced metaphyseal fracture of right distal radius and ulna
2. mildly angulated closed left midshaft clavicle fracture

Treatment Plan: Taken to Operation Room and had a closed reduction and percutaneous pinning of right metaphyseal distal radius fracture and closed reduction, cast placement for a right distal ulna fracture.

I coded the fractures with a straight E/M code due to going to surgery. Surgery done on 10/13/15

Then on 10/23/15 OV I coded Status Post with a 99024 for the surgery of the right distal radius and then coded the clavicle fracture with a straight E/M code with a 24 modifier

Then on 11/18/15 OV again I coded the Status Post with a 99024 and the Clavicle and Ulna fracture with a straight E/M code with a modifier 24.

Can anyone tell me if this was correct.

I am not 100% positive; however, I think since both problems were corrected at the same time during surgery/casting; both f/u visits would be 99024 with NO straight E/M coding or use of modifier 24.
