If a patient has two surgical procedures done at once, for two different diagnoses, and one of the procedures has a 90 day global and one has a 0 day, and they come in for an office visit to follow up on both conditions within the global period, can you bill for an E/M on the 0-day procedure condition they are following up for?

Depends on the documentation. Seems this would be rare to never.
What was done? What were the procedures?
Does the provider really want to do that even if they could?
If it *could* be done; if you crossed out everything to do with the 90 day from the note, what would be left? Would there be enough for an EM with a modifier to bypass the global?
