I am just curious if coding mulitple procedure like: Colonoscopy snare removal from cecum then we have a cold forceps removal ascending. The scope is a screening. Lets Say all is benign. Non medicare. Is it correct to do:
45385 Z12.11, D12.0
45380-59 Z12.11, D12.2

Or
45385 Z12.11, D12.0
45380-59 D12.2

We have different thoughts in the office and wanted to hear others. Does the second procedures also need to have the DX of the screening.
