I have a breast surgeon who, on occasion, performs multiple US guided vaccuum assisted biopsies through one incision site. I was thinking that I read somewhere that we can only bill for multiple biopsies if separate incision sites. Can anybody help me with this and also tell me where I can find guidelines for this. Thanks
