Is there a limit to how many times +36476 (each subsequent vein same extremity) can be used? Is anyone aware of any reimbursement issues with using this add on code more than 2 times in the same setting?

We bill 36475,36476 frequently; now as to using 36475,36476,36476 on the same dos, I do not know of a specific issue on this. But if you are talking about billing 36475 and 36476 together for several separate dos (as billing both codes on Monday of one week and then again on Friday of same calendar week), then I can tell you I haven't had a problem with any carrier on that front. Hope that this helps!

It certainly does help! My doctor was questioning how many times he can use the add on code 36476 in one operative session (same day)- he wants to know if there is a limit to how many times he can apply the add on to his primary procedure?
