How do I diagnose repiar of 3 vental hernia's? Only use 553.20 once, or is there another way to show this patient had 3 separate hernia's?

As far as the dx code is concerned, you only code the ventral hernia once. The cpt codes and modifiers used for the actual repair is what's going to show that the repair was done on separate hernias.
