Does anyone have any information on whether a PA can bill a Nasal Endoscopy 31238 for a Medicare patient? Ours are getting denied.

You may want to check your state laws. I am located in Florida and our MAC, First Coast does not have a problem with our Nurse Practitioner performing them. It is within the scope of their practice.

31238 is "with control of nasal hemorrhage"
Can you bill for cautery, or packing the hemorrhage? I know the PA's at our hospital bill for one or the other.
30901-30905 might come into play here, maybe.
