She endorsed fentanyl and methamphetamine use
before presenting to Prosser memorial in active labor. Baby's UDS is positive
for fentanyl, methamphetamines and amphetamine. He is showing signs of early
withdrawal. He was initiated on PRN morphine on DOL-0(06/23) and by DOL-1(06/24)
he was initiated on scheduled morphine dose. His symptoms were Tachypnea,
Hyperthermia, (Temp of 37.9degC on 06/25) inconsolability, Hypertonia and
Exaggerated neonatal reflexes.
Treatment UDS +ve; Placed for hypothermia on radiant warmer
can we code and nb effected maternal by opiates and drug withdrawal along with
Tachypnea,Hyperthermia, inconsolability, Hypertonia and Exaggerated neonatal reflexes. addition codes
