I am in need of a diagnosis of a tumor./ mass on the aortic valve
possible a papillary fibroelastoma

HELP Please

There is no specific dx for a mass of the aortic valve. ICD-9 instructs "specified organ NEC-see disease of specified organ or site". This takes you to disease of mitral valve 424.1 ICD-9 is not always terrific for finding exact codes but that will all change with ICD-10!

If it is proven to be a fibroelastoma, you can use 212.7. If it is not clear, then I have used either 424.1 or 786.6.
