Hi,

Here's my situation...... I have a patient that has been receiving 5.0 ml custom immunotherapy serum injections. We don't make the serum but purchased the serum from an outside company. The company cannot supply any codes for this serum. I don't know how to bill this out. We have only been billing out CPT 95117. Any help on how to bill this serum?

Hi,

Were you able to obtain any clarification on your question?

We use an outside pharmacy to compound our serums and code for the immunotherapy. Our providers generate the rx and determine what goes into the serums and vials.
