hi,

can someone tell me how you would code this? i cant post the note, but the documentation is there. i just need an opinion because i believe it was not coded correctly.

Trans. Skin grafts need body location and age of patient

Hi There

You only gave bare minimal info, but need where skin graft is required on patient's body, age of patient and type of skin graft. Is it dermal, epidermal, skin thickness grafts ? Check out CPT manual in blocks of CPTs 15101 to 15155. But if basic skin graft on trunk less than 1% do CPT 15100 x 1 =100 sq in the area of trunk or arms. And then add CPT 15101 20 cm for equal 120 cm.
