I have a Practicing Dr ordering 82570 and 82044 (urine creatinine mirco) and a reference Dr ordering 82570 and 84156 ( Portein conc, creatinine conc) and these are always ordered together. My understanding is that the 1st group is urine and the 2nd group is blood. We are getting denied for duplication of 82570, however the methology and results are different. Is there a way to code this in order 82570 not to get denied as a duplicate? Please advise. Thank you.
