Need answer ASAP. I asked this in the past and someone suggested microfracture procedure. I now have more information about this procedure. This patient is having a hardware removal(20680) due to painful hardware. He also has Osteochondral defect to metatarsal head that they will treat with the bone marrow stimulation. As far as I know this will be an open procedure. Anyone know the CPT for the bone marrow stimulation? If unlisted, what would the comparison code be? Thanks,
 
Will bone marrow be aspirated for collagen matrix graft (or mixed with BMP)? If so I would code 20999 and 28899 this is what 3m encoder came up with.
