Patient receiving contrast media has Stage III renal disease. Doctor orders hydration pre and post procedure to prevent renal toxicity d/t contrast. What dx is used for this hydration?
Any help is appreciated - thanks in advance.

Hi,

My view on this report is the DR ordered for hydration therapy (infusion therapy) to prevent the renal toxicity which may be one of the complication of the procedure, so we can code the icd only for stage 3 renal disease.

This is my suggestion, please correct me if iam wrong.
