Greetings and Salutations!
My doc performed a knee scope. Afterwards, he made an incision and removed a calcified mass, which turned out to be a piece of collateral ligament.
Is Code 27328 correct?
 
Depends, was it still attached like a tumor would be or was it loose and just calcified? Or did they biopsy it to make sure what it was. I would need to see the op note, but you have several things it could be. Look at 27324 or Foreign body removal.
