Hello everyone,

Hoping someone can help me with this. I have a general surgery doc who only performed CPT +61316 which is an add on code. According to both him and the neurosurgeon that is the only part of the surgery that he helped with. The neurosurgeon billed 61312 as the primary procedure. Should I bill it as follows?

61312-80
61316

He did not assist on the 61312 so I think this is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
