I work for a medical company as a floater doing all sorts of stuff from medical assisting, to clerical work, to the billing department etc. I've been learning a little about coding for the past year working there.
I decided to become certified as a medical coder, and was told since I already have a degree in paramedicine (meaning I have a solid understanding of anatomy/phisiology/medical terminology), and I have the clinical/ clerical/ billing experience with the company, that all I need is the study guide, the practice exam, and all the books for the exam.
I'm trying to sign up for the exam. I understand I need to do the CPC exam, but under the CPC choice is a list of 22 other choices that I never even seen before:
CASCC, CANPC, CCC, CCVTC....... ETC
