Patient came in for preventive physical & wanted pap done, but was on monthly & had to come back for pap on a different day. We coded the initial visit - V70.0 but are unsure how to code for pap. Should we use diagnosis code V72.31 with office visit and pap smear cpt# 87210? Or is another code appropriate? Please help!
