I am looking for the code for : Type II diabetic mononeuropathy of the legs. I have the 250.60, but am confused on the 355.71( causalgia of lower limb) and 355.79 (other mononeuritis of lower limb) can any one help clarify?:confused::confused::confused:
 
I wouldn't use 355.7x unless causalgia or another type of mononeuritis was mentioned. If it was documented as your statement says, I'd use 355.8 since legs are specified.
