I'm trying to determine appropriate codes for following. I'm looking at 32653, 32505 and 32506. Have found these are not bundled but are they correct?Any suggestions? Op report reads Thoracoscope introduced evacuated over 2 liters of serous pleural fluid. Assessed situation of a massive tumor. Performed thoracotomy under direct vision just at the interspace just below inferior aspect of tumor. With regards to the Parietal pleura in chest wall managed to mobilize tumor leaving overlying the parietal pleura intact. Embarked on resection. There were two densely adherent areas of tumor, one to the lower lobe & one to the upper lobe. Unclear whether scarring or true origination point of tumor. Appeared most likely the upper lobe area but felt should take a small rim of pulmonary issue in both locations. Were able to then completely mobilize the tumor & lift it with blunt dissection overlying the pulmonary artery and the fissure & ultimately freed it. Encountered mult other parietal pleural implants. One of these sent for path. They documented multifocal disease. There is also another separate tumor in the rt upper lobe that was resected this was done with essentially a wedge resection. The tumor was then removed. Thanks for assistance.
