Pre-Op diagnosis: Partial tearing with recurrent tendonitis, right Achilles tendon.


Procedure: The patient was placed supine on the operative table. Anesthesia then obtained 30cc of the patient's blood. This was then spun and prepared and the platelet- rich plasma was grafted then injected by myself via # 18-gauge needle into the Achilles tendon and surrounding region. A dressing was applied; the patient was placed in a CAM Walker and returned to the recovery room in stable condition.
