Hand surgeon office and he wants to see if he can bill for a pulse oximetrey in office? Can you give me a cpt code for this please? Ty:

94760 is for pulse ox. However, why is a hand surgeon wanting this? In order to bill for pulse ox, the patient has to have a respiratory problem.. ie, asthma, COPD, emphysema, etc. If it is done just with the vitals, then it is included in the vitals and cannot code it separately.
