Wiki Need help with daVinci robotic codes

I need help with coding for procedures done using the daVinci robotic. For the GYN codes we use the laparoscopy codes, so I thought we could use the thoracoscopy codes when the thoracic surgeon uses the robot.

However, the first procedure is for resection of a subcarinal lymph node and I can't find any codes, laparoscopic or VATS that fit that procedure.

Any ideas? Thoughts. Direction on where I might find some help? :confused:

We recently started billing S2900 for use of robotics. Previously we had added the 22 modifier to the primary procedure. I don't think we ever received any additional reimbursement that way. We are having some luck with some payers using the S2900.:o
