I work as a coder for an OB GYN office. A patient presented for an appointment to r/o labial hypertrophy. After exam it was determined it was not labial hypertrophy. Patient has absolutely no symptoms and the exam was normal. Any ideas on what to use as a diagnosis? I am stumped...
 
My first thought went to the worried well code, Z71.1. Can anyone explain the difference between CodingKing's suggestion of Z03.89 and Z71.1? Just trying to understand the nuances. Thank you!
