Provider states bone was exposed and covered with cottonoids while the collagen sponge soaked in bone morphogenic protein was placed in the disc space. next the morcellized allograft was then tapped into place in the disc space through a bone tunnel and a tap. Next the 10*26 peek spacer was packed with allograft and demineralized bone matrix and tapped into place. Provider's main procedure is the 22630 but wants to bill 2 seaprate grafts for this case based upon the above documentation. Provider feels he can bill both the 20930 and 20931. I think he can only bill the 20931 but he wants to bill for both. Any suggestions would be helpful.
