I need assistance finding a code.

DX reads as follows: "Colon reticulosis with disruptive mucosa"

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I hope this could help you:

The association of Malabsorption syndromes and Reticulosis has been well known for many years. It ha sbeen postulated that reticulosis could be a late complication of idiopathic STEATORREA.
Steotorrehoa, malabsorption syndrome and adult celiac disease are closely knitted so much so that they are grouped under the ”Celiac disease”. These at a later stage could subsequently develop for carcinoma.
With this association of this group of conditions are categorized into 579.x series. If you could kindly read through the 579 series and correlate your signs and symptoms of the patient and findings, you could click at the appropriate code.
If this is all that you got, I would safely go for celiac disease 579.0. or 579.8
Hope this helps to get some clue.
