Would this be coded as 36573 or 36556? One of girls feels it should be the first code but I am thinking that it should be the second... Thanks for your help

Indications

Acquired insufficiency of aortic valve [I35.1 (ICD-10-CM)]

Summary

Conclusion:
After informed consent was obtained the patient was prepped and draped in a sterile fashion. Ultrasound was used to identify the right internal jugular vein. Lidocaine was administered over the skin and subcutaneous tissue. Under direct ultrasound guidance percutaneous access was obtained with a micropuncture kit. I placed a 4 French sheath over the micropuncture wire.


Recommendations
