Does anyone have any ideas on where I could volunteer and not lose my experience with medical billing and coding while I'am waiting for a permanent job? I live in Michigan, and Grand Rapids and Lansing would be close to my home. Thank you,.

I would look at the AAPC website for CEU opportunities. There are a few that are either no cost or low cost. Or there maybe opportunites at your current employer or at your local AAPC chapter.
