you will need to goto the complication of radiation codes, then the hypothyroidism then the E code for adverse effect of therapeutic radiation

244.1 "hypothyroidism following therapy such as irradition" - if so stated as due to iodine then E code is needed no complication code would be needed as codes in the 244 series cover these complications

yes that was what I was wanting the poster to discover by going thru the logic process. I feel some things are important to discover, so I try to give logic to assist with finding the codes. I am sorry if my meaning was not clear.
