I was wondering if anyone else has had an issue with Medicare not paying on cpt 98940/AT b/c of there not being a secondary diagnosis. Thank you.
 
Pam, are you billing a sublux code followed by a condition code? Example: for cervicalgia, code 739.1 and 723.1. Medicare requires the sublux code first. Does this help?
