Does any one know how to code out patient dialysis training?-
?90989?Dialysis training, patient, including helper where applicable, any mode, COMPLETED course
?90993?Dialysis training, patient, including helper where applicable, any mode, course NOT COMPLETED, per training session
*The policy: A completed course of 25 sessions is billed to the CPT code 9098
**My main question is: Do I wait for the 25 sessions to pass and then code 90989 or code 90993 until they reach 25 sessions because these patients are on my monthly spread sheet to code.
