Hello coding fellow coding sisters and brothers,

Rt L4 Nerve impingement w/ Neuropathic chronic pain to Rt leg.

I've seen this a couple of times and have been unable to make sense of it. Please help

The impingement itself is foraminal stenosis. The pain it causes in the leg is radiculopathy.

As far as which to code...what is the patient there for? To treat the stenosis? Or the pain?
