the doctor does nerve testing: 95900,95903 and 95904. 95900 was denied stating this procedure/service is not paid separately.

I just want to confirm my answer. In the CPT book under

95900 nerve conduction, amplitude and latency/velocity study, each nerve; motor, without F-wave study

95903 motor, with F-wave study

If you do the nerve test with and without F-wave study, you would only use 95903.

Is this correct? Thanks for any help.

ok so i am new to this area and i am not sure how to bill the code 95904

why do you use units?

as i read the cpt book you only bill 95904 regardless of the number of sites tested.

where is a good resource for this info
