It has been recommended to us to bill Neurotrax (psychological testing) in the following manner:

Day 1: E&M code

Day 2: 96119 & 96102-59 (test is performed with a technician and computer)

Day 3: 96116 (provider interpretation-no face to face with pt)

Day 4: E&M code to have face to face with pt to go over the test results

The area we are least comfortable with is Day 3 & Day 4. We are not sure due to the description of 96116 if we need to be face to face with the pt. If so, that would eliminate Day 4???
