Can my neurologist bill for a patient that is having IVIG in the infusion center of our facility? I'm thinking not....but if it is possible, what is required? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Only if there is a separately identifiable new or exacerbation of a problem to provide medical decision making.

Normally, the Neurologist will write the orders for the IVIG in the office and the IVIG is managed by a hospitalist type of scenario if they are inpatient. More information is needed ot assist further.
