Any assistance is greatly appreciated! one of my doctors does nerve decompressions in the foot. His billing service uses 64708 to code for a decompression of a nerve in the foot. The incision was made in the foot not in the leg. The location of the nerve is described in the opertative report is in the foot. So maybe i am the one who is confused.

To code a decompression in the foot i use 64704 not 64708. Can someone please correct me if i am wrong...he has me talking to myself!
what code would you use for decompressing a nerve in the foot.
