Hello,

When a psychologist or tech is performing a Neuropsych test (96118, 96119), yet documents his/her time for less than one hour, is it still applicable to bill either code or would this qualify for a modifier 52, although that is usually used with regard to procedures?

Just askin'!

Thanks a lot - Carol

Decubitus Ulcer Surgery Coding

Hi Everyone!

My question is for general surgery coding.

If you remove a sacral decubitus ulcer but instead of the primary suture as the CPT code states, we leave the wound open and pack it with a wet to dry dressing. Do we still bill the 15931? Or do you bill a 11041?

Thank You,

Julia
